Very yummy neighborhood spot. My family has been going here for years and it's always delicious. They usually get the same dishes, but I tried the Saag and was very pleased! We usually take out so can't speak on service or ambiance, but a good place to try if you live in the area.

Date: Friday, May 5, 2023 Meal: Dinner Delivery Ordered via: DoorDash Time Placed: around 4:30pm Time Arrived: around 5:15pm Delivered to: Evergreen, San Jose *Curry Sauce: 4oz, Butter Sauce, Extra Spicy ($2.50) *Onion Naan: extra spicy ($5.49) *A la Chicken Tikka Masala: extra spicy, garlic pesto naan ($16.99) Curry is my comfort food. Thai, Japanese, Indian, etc. I adore it all. I was on my own for dinner, so decided to get some Indian for delivery. I had a discount code on my DD account, so with tax, tip, delivery fee, etc, I ended up paying $25.32. Not a bad deal if I do say so myself. Both naans were delicious. Savory and flavorful. A perfect way to scoop up the curry. If memory serves, the tikka masala was nice and creamy. Tho not as spicy as I wanted. I thought noting extra spicy would have more heat. The side of butter curry was small. But 4oz isn't that much, so I shouldn't have expected much. It was nice having an extra side since I had two pieces of naan. Glad I tried out Chaat Cafe. It was definitely comforting. REVIEW #3546

Good north Indian food. We often get their chole bhature, chicken tangdi kabab, wraps and chaat. Food is tasty, service is prompt.

I have been here twice. It's a no frills place. Service is quick. You order at the counter and get served at the table. Food is delicious. Their chaat is on the point. We order the papdi chaat and ate the papdis and then realized there was chole at the bottom. Do mix it well. Their chole or garbanzo beans curry is one of the best I have had in a while. It's my go to spot for quick snack or lunch.

I'm surprised I haven't given a review here. It's not fast food! It is actually the best Indian food in the local area IMO. Service is always outstanding whether you are dining inside or going for take out. For me my favorite is the salmon or chicken wraps. The Dal is quite tasty (and healthy)! Pricing is very reasonable and there is always parking in the lot.

Affordable prices and an extensive menu. It's a great place to go for lunch because of the lunch special prices. Plenty of parking and seating. No outside seating. Service is fast. I've gone back because I want to try all the curries.

It's been a long time since I came here because I no longer live in the area, but was back in my old neighborhood and decided to stop here for dinner. My husband and I ordered the chicken tikka plate and the spicy seekh plate so we could share. Both meats were delicious as was the fluffy rice. The lentil soup was perfectly spiced, and the garlic naan had lots of garlic and was absolutely delicious. I'm going to say one of the best naans I've ever had! The cucumber side was refreshing as well. Even better than the delicious meal was that it was a great value! We will absolutely make a point of coming back here to try more things. The gentlemen working here were also very nice and professional.

Really great Indian food that's quick and easy on the wallet. It was quite crowded on a Friday evening and we ordered at the counter, butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, veggie pakora, and papri chaat. The papri chaat was refreshing from the yogurt and loved the combination with the chickpeas. The chips do get soggy a bit quick though. The veggie pakora came out nice and hot, and it was interesting to have it in the chickpea batter. Really good appetizer. I do wish the curries came out a little hotter in temperature, and the butter chicken was fine, but a bit too tomato sauce like for my taste. The vindaloo was great, our favorite of the two, though didn't have any heat like we thought it would from the menu description. Naan was also very good, and liked that you could pick up sides of sauces at the counter. All in all, a very good meal and will be back again!

The weekday lunch specials are great deals, healthy, and fill you up. I believe it's from 12pm-3:30pm, but don't quote me on that. The veggie of the day last Thursday was cauliflower with potato in a yellow curry, and it was served with naan. So flavorful and delicious. The Cholay Batura had a chickpea dip with an addicting, fluffy bread. It was my favorite dish out of the ones we ordered just because the bread. We also got a chicken wrap that had bbq chicken and veggies in it. It was good too. The employees were nice and answered any questions we had about the dishes. The water is self serve from a filtered water dispenser. There are mint chutney and tamarind sauces available too. I'll definitely be back for lunch!
